Parker
Associates is a professional organization providing marketing and
sales consulting services to both public and private real estate and
resort developers, homebuilders and investors.
Initially established by David Parker and Charlie Clark in
1982 as Clark Parker Associates, and modified to Parker Associates
in 1990, the combined organizations have served over 300 clients in
30 states and 15 countries.
In addition to Dr. David F. Parker, Parker Associates includes Vice
Presidents Chris Parker and Stephen Parker, and Senior Associates
Jon McClow, David Owen, and Don Waltz. Office support members
include Judy Larrabee and Mike Remo.

Dr. David F.
Parker: Over the
past four decades, David Parker has been responsible for a wide
range of management, development and marketing innovations in the
real estate industry as corporate executive, planner, teacher,
author and consultant. His skills have been applied to projects in Europe, the
Middle East, Central America and the Caribbean as well as in many
parts of the United States and his native Canada.
All have received David Parker’s distinctive blend of
academic knowledge and development management experience, combined
with his focus on consumer characteristics as the key to generating
optimum marketing results. |
Prior to 1982, David Parker’s career included
marketing private housing in the British new city of Milton Keynes;
directing planning and initial development of Sadat City in Egypt;
president and CEO of development for Audubon New Community outside
Buffalo, NY; development of New York State’s planning
programming-budgeting system; and in 1959 named “National Builder
of the Year†by Canada’s National
Builder Magazine.
Dr. Parker holds a master’s degree in urban
planning from Michigan State University and a doctoral degree from
the State University of New York at Albany. Memberships include
American Institute of Certified Planners, National Association of
Home Builders Institute of Residential Marketing and National
Council On Seniors Housing, Urban Land Institute Council on
Community Development, Southeast Resort Real Estate Council and
Jacksonville Mayor’s Commission on Housing.
He has authored dozens of articles on marketing, planning,
budgeting and management. Parker
has authored three books: Marketing New Homes and Selling
New Homes (National Association of Home Builders, Washington, D.
C. 1989), and, in 1999, the second edition of Marketing
New Homes, available from the NAHB bookstore in Washington, D.
C.

J. Chris Parker: Chris Parker joined Parker Associates in 1990 and became a
Vice President and partner in the firm in 1995.
Under the tutelage of Dr. David F. Parker, Chris has emerged
as an innovator and leader in advanced real estate market research
and marketing and has mastered and augmented methodological
techniques proven to aid clients in making informed real estate
development, planning and marketing decisions. Since joining Parker Associates, Chris has
participated in, directed, and completed nearly 500 studies for
private and public entities including land developers, landowners,
residential and commercial builders, financial institutions, city
and state government agencies and the U.S. Department of the Navy.

Chris’s experience ranges from single and multi-family
residential market studies, large land marketing and development
feasibility analysis, to DRI and HUD application research and
reporting, and strategic development and marketing planning.
Additionally Chris has specialized in defining consumer
trends, characteristics and preferences through a range of
scientific survey mediums.
Chris has written several articles on consumer
research methodology, development and marketing and sales issues.
Before joining Parker Associates, Chris held
management positions with Marriott Corporation and with Arvida
Corporation at Sawgrass, as well as was a corporate executive with
the Tournament Players Association professional golf tour during the
late 1980s. Chris is a
member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and the
National Association of Home Builders and currently is working
towards completion of his MIRM designation (Member of the Institute
of Residential Marketing) as well as a licensed Florida Real Estate
salesman.

David W. B. Parker: David "The Younger" began his company, PTC Computer Solutions (www.ptccomputersolutions.com) in 1996
providing Internet services, web development, web hosting, web
consulting, technology consulting, network support, online
marketing, e-commerce, intranet, mico-marketing, search engine
optimization, blogging, social networking, flash, java, graphics
design, logo and brand development, as well as a number of other
services to the Jacksonville, North Florida, national, and
international small and medium sized business clients they have
had through the years. David quickly
established himself as an important addition to the Parker
Associates group of companies supporting the office and its
needs for technology and partnering to work with Parker
Associates as warranted. His ability to handle large and
complex spreadsheets and research-reporting has made him

He has been involved in many studies through the years and most

David's background is one rich in technology and database

David has written a number of articles on consumer
research methodology, marketing and sales, advertising and public
relations issues as well as many articles on the use of technologies
and intranet connected communities through the years in such
publications as Seniors Housing News and Tech Builder
among others.
Since obtaining his Bachelor in
Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida in 1989, David
went out to test the engineering waters with Ingall's Shipbuilding
in Pascagoula, Mississippi where he discovered his flare for
computer technologies. He returned to complete a second
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of
Florida in 1992 before proceeding to work with such companies as
CitiGroup and Aetna. He continued to develop his mastery of
database services and launched his
PTC
Computer Solutions company in Jacksonville in 1996, the only
internet provider of its kind at the time and still surviving today
as the remaining innovator from that time period on the Internet in
Jacksonville. Though much of his work has been Internet
related through the years, his talents in producing the online newsletter
for Parker Associates and other clients as well as developing
intensive blog and data driven sites has landed his company in the
Jacksonville Business Journal's Top Web Designers list repeatedly.
David is and has been a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of
Commerce since 1996.
With the completion of his
Master's Degree in Business specializing in IT-Project Management,
David brings a whole new level of project support and operations
